  This is not something I normally do, but I had such a great experience with this doctor that I have to take the time to write a review. For 8 years I suffered with lower back pain, I went for a variety of physical therapy sessions, pain management physicians, I had cortisone shots 15 times in my spine between my L4 and L5.. none of these options worked for me at all. The Dr decided that, after another MRI of my back, it was time for me to have surgery on my back. At one time in my life I was the executive director to a health related facility, it was an HMO. I decided if I was going to have back surgery I wanted to really investigate who was going to perform the procedure. Dr. Alfred T. Ogden was my first choice, and thankfully took me as a patient. From the moment he made his diagnosis and a recommendation for surgery, I can only say that the experience has been one of joy. I am finally free of pain. I wish to share this w/others who may have experienced similar problems. I could have had the procedure done at Columbia Presbyterian, or Valley Hospital. I chose Valley because it was close to me. I was in at 5:30 in the morning and out by the next afternoon. I highly recommend this physician to anyone and everyone I meet, I'm more than pleased with the results of the procedure, and the doctor's guidance through it all. Arlington Robinson
